King of the Coop is located on Florida Avenue in Tampa, Seminole Heights area, right in the middle of Seminole Heights.

King of the Coop is a place where you are going to sit down and chowdown your sandwich, take out is basically what you're looking at. There's some seating in the back but it's not indoor seating (Wesley Chapel branch has indoor seating arrangements) - mostly to-go food.

We don't recall exactly how we found out about this place (perhaps a Google search for something 4 stars and above in the area) but damn! This is the best chicken sandwich you can get in Tampa Bay. For sure.

No, for real, this is the best chicken sandwich, hands down.

We got the classic hot chicken, the calling card, Nashville Hot. Everything is well seasoned. But what blows our mind is that the chicken sandwich stands on its own, as it should; but it's also accompanied by really dope fries. These fries are so fluffy inside and crispy outside, it's an event on its own.

Be aware, that once you have King of the Coop, everthing else falls short. You will measure all other chicken sandwiches against this and the bar is set pretty high.

Once you go coop, you don't need to poop. Actually, you do, and you should be aware of the consequence too. It's hot and spicy.

Mac n' Cheese is pretty good, cat fish is good too. We're not coming here for that, but if you have a friend that doesn't eat chicken for some reason, you can still hangout with them and they'll have options.
