Hair of the Oyster
Air date:
A day by the river, oysters and rooftop cocktails.
Rick’s on the River, a great place for oysters. Come and join the vibe.
Rick’s on the River, a place where you can park right by the river, walk up a few steps, grab a table, order some oysters and beers and you’re set.

Grayson goes here just for the oysters. A lot of other places can be suspect but Rick’s just churns them out; they even have an oyster bar.
Service is pretty straight forward. If you need service, flip the sign to the red card “Service Needed”, if you don’t, leave it on the blue card “No Service Needed”.

You can get your oysters raw, steamed, fried, etc. The steamed Rickafeller oysters are a solid option if you’re not into raw food.
Grayson’s Classic preparation:
- Add nice knob of horseradish
- Tabasco sauce
- Get your cracker ready
- Hit it (slurp)
- Eat cracker (crunch)

Rick’s really captures that river vibe, the vibe of the football fan, rock n’ roll fan. You can pull up on your boat, get a couple dozen oysters, they’re fresh and tasty. Can’t ask for more.
