El Taconazo

Mexican food at its finest. Try to make it early Saturday morning for the Carnitas. Cheap and pretty much the best taco/burrito in Tampa.

Once you eat here, you'll never go to Tacobell again. Their food is wonderful for its price. It's a shame not more people know about it. When I was at EMT school, everyone was going to Wendy's on their lunch break while I was going down the road to this place. For the same price, I was by far getting the better deal.

My first impressions were not fond of the location, I imagined the meat was gonna be poor quality and chewy... however, looks are deceiving. The flavor and texture of the meats are perfect, the tortillas are just right, all the check points indicate a tasty meal for the same price as garbage at Taco Bell.

Best place to get lunch hands down. And dinner to is amazing . In fact the my only quarrel with this place is the line. but its worth the wait. I'm Hungry..

Great video! I have ALWAYS wanted to go to Taco Bus but still haven't made it out there yet- very soon though. I actually stumbled onto your page from foodgawker- the picture looks great!

What's CL?

I had lunch at the Taco Bus yesterday. Since we filmed this bit, the owners have changed and I believe for the better. The service is quicker and friendly and the food is good. Prices have gone up a little, check out the site for recent changes tampatacobus.com.
DO NOT order the "chicharron en salsa verde"! that junk is nasty, I thought it would be crispy pork cracklings but it turns out to be limp chunks of pork skin...
